Our behind-the-scenes exploration of Lamborghini Geneva continues and for this 4th edition, we meet Diego and Nuno, the sales forces of the concession. As a seller of new vehicles, Diego is often the first contact of customers with the bull brand. Nuno, meanwhile, manages the after-sales service and thus ensures the continuity of the privileged relationship that buyers have begun to establish with Diego.
Best roads lead to Lamborghini
We never know where life is going to lead us, but for Diego and Nuno, the destination was clearly that of the dream. A trained pharmacist, Diego has always been passionate about motorsport, to the point of doing two flying schools in parallel with his studies. After practising as a pharmacist and then as a pharmacy director in Italy, he flew to New York, where he worked in the marketing department of a pharmaceutical group. Since photography is another of her passions, the incursion into marketing is not surprising. When his fiancée moved to Geneva, this man, open to the challenge, followed her and found a way to reconcile her passion for cars with her experience by becoming a trainee in the sales and marketing department of Lamborghini Geneva in December 2018. Engaged in September 2019, he is now an integral part of this team that is welded and passionate.
Just as passionate and open to opportunities, Nuno has held several automotive-related positions throughout his career. First of all mechanic, he was in turn in charge of the store, worked in a after-sales service, was in charge of the preparation of the specifications and the relationship with the insurers. When the opportunity to work at Lamborghini Geneva presented itself, at the end of 2019, this great fan of beautiful mechanics did not hesitate for a second.
Curiosity well placed
Naturally, Diego and Nuno love customer contact, exchange and human relationship. At Lamborghini, these aspects are amplified because they have to do with knowledgeable connoisseurs and amateurs, some of them on the circuit, all interested in details. Then they discuss, answer questions, inform and above all, fully commit themselves to satisfying requests. Buying a Lamborghini is getting to a rare world, of course, but it's also integrating a « team », distributed from the world but defending the same values.
We harvest what we sow
Incarnation of power, luxury and prestige, Lamborghini is at the top of the chain, according to Nuno. « For higher sensations, you have to be pilot of aircraft ». And again... You know, at Lamborghini, we sow the seeds of passion very early and the famous small model of the Countach, with its fascinating elyter doors (or doors) « butterflies ») made many children shine. Nuno is one of those and he didn't think he'd ever meet the legendary brand so close. Even though his arrival is still recent, he already has a remarkable memory: during his second visit to the concession, the mechanics took him to do a test. He then discovered what real motor power was for his greatest pleasure.
Diego's passion for Lamborghini also dates back to childhood, when he looked at these out-of-standard cars. Now that he works for a brand he really considers apart and admires aesthetics and technology (only cars with atmospheric v10 and v12 engines), he can explore and discover the universe and the specifics of each model and talk to colleagues or customers as passionate as he does. Transmission again and again therefore, open and friendly. Perhaps this is how such an exceptional brand has been able to create such closeness with people...
