Just before the brand's 60th anniversary, Lamborghini unveiled the Revuelto, the first HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) hybrid. With the Revuelto, Lamborghini sets a new benchmark for performance, on-board technology and driving pleasure. The ultimate thrill of the Revelto is achieved thanks to a powertrain that delivers a total of 1,015 hp, combining the power of a brand new 12-cylinder internal combustion engine with three high-density electric motors and a revolutionary dual-clutch transverse electronic transmission. The power of hybridization is exploited to bring performance and driving emotions to an unprecedented level.

The Revuelto honours the Lamborghini tradition and marks the beginning of a new era, even in its exterior design. While the silhouette of the car embraces the iconic single central axis, clearly carved lines and smooth negative rays create a high-tech shape that places the Revelto in the new generation of Lamborghini supercars. The iconic V12 is celebrated by being presented in all its splendor at the rear of the vehicle.
HABITACLE
The interior of the Revelto carries the concept « Feel Like a Pilot » (To feel like a driver) at its highest expression: simple volumes, symmetry and a driver-centred approach make the cockpit a space where the driver has all the assets. The futuristic environment creates a homogeneous link between the driver and his machine, while elements exclusive to the hexagonal shape fulfill the dual mission to evoke the models of the past and highlight the new functional features.

MONOCOQUE
In the Revuelto, the concept of carbon fibre monohull is brought to a completely different level by extending to the front, creating a monohull that finds its inspiration in aeronautics. This gave rise to a revolutionary chassis with a central monohull in Forged Composites, a technology much more durable than traditional manufacturing processes. This new solution maximizes weight reduction (-9 kg compared to the front chassis of the Aventador), voltage stiffness (> 40,000 NM/°) and resistance to protect the vehicle and its occupants in the event of an accident.
MOTOR
The Revuelto completely rewrites the technical paradigm of Lamborghini, starting with the iconic V12 engine which finds in the first Lamborghini hybrid an opportunity to evolve; To begin with, it was rotated 180° and optimized to coexist harmoniously with three electric motors (two on the front electric axle and one behind the engine itself). The change experienced by the V12 engine is a real revolution: new, more efficient combustion system, new exhaust system that reduces high-speed back pressure, new intake system that improves torque and power, new oil and water system, improved valve control with a new HLA radial pusher for high speeds and, finally, a weight reduction of -33.5 kg. The new V12 engine can produce an impressive 825 hp in combination with electric motors at a maximum speed of more than 350 km/h.

The choice of this location has several advantages: it helps balance the weight, improves the space in the interior and optimizes the Revelto's hybrid power thanks to its configuration with a rear electric motor, which allows the gearbox to start the engine and recharge the battery or support the electric control and perform regenerative braking. In addition, a higher clutch torque capacity improves performance.
Finally, the dual clutch system of the gearbox allows, for different gear changes, to optimize driving modes, from driving in the city to the thrills of maximum acceleration.

In addition, this redesigned version of LDVI can predict ground adhesion and adjust the distribution of acceleration and braking power to ensure the best performance and control.
