In order to achieve new peaks of performance and give the impression of driving a real race car, on the Huracán STO, the LDS (Lmborghini Dynamic Steering) has been replaced by a fixed and more direct steering ratio and three new exceptional driving modes: STO, TROFEO and PIOGGIA.

AERODYNAISM
All racing cars require extreme aerodynamics. In order to achieve this level of performance on the new road-approved Huracán STO, Lamborghini used all his experience in racing.
At the front, a shield distributes the air flow in order to improve the ground effect of the vehicle, while the air ducts on the bonnet generate a forward deportance and the deflectors increase the air flow in order to reduce the pressure in the wheel passage and further increase the deportance.
At the rear, a shark fin improves the vehicle's dynamic behaviour, especially in turn, an air intake cools the temperature under the rear hood and a rear diffuser keeps the rear deportance at a correct level. The rear deflector is designed to increase the desired aerodynamic deportance and a limited drag, while its slit design with three manually adjustable positions enhances the sensations worthy of a vehicle's stroke by allowing the driver to adapt the front aerodynamic balance according to the different driving modes.

SENSIONS ON BRAKING
The advanced braking system of the Huracán STO is one of the features that make it so unique. The exclusive CCMR carbon-ceramic brake discs designed by Brembo from the world of Formula 1 races are the heart of the vehicle. Rarely used on road cars, CCMR discs have been associated here with tires designed for use on the runway, with a higher aerodynamic load and with a dedicated brake cooling system designed to optimize the performance and regularity of braking over time. In order to further increase confidence during braking, the pedal was slightly extended to ensure increased responsiveness. Together, these elements offer a remarkable level of braking regularity in all driving conditions and an exclusive sense of safety during driving.

DESIGN Alleged
Since the design of the new Huracán STO is destined to breathe a sporty look into a super sporty road-approved, the key word is, from the beginning, « lightness ». Each component has been carefully sought out to achieve the best race performance, with an optimal weight to power ratio.
This resulted in the use of solid and ultra-light carbon fibre body panels and the use of a technology developed in the aerospace sector for certain components. « sandwich technology », to reduce the weight of the vehicle. The Alcantara® sports-style coating, the 30% lighter windscreen, the new magnesium rims, the smaller soundproofing panels and the titanium rear arch complete the package.
Thanks to these solutions, the total vehicle weight has been reduced by 43 kg compared to the Huracán Performante, allowing the STO to offer a lighter, faster and more exclusive racing experience.
