Alberto Di Folco is back at Lamborghini!
Alberto Di Folco ready for a multiple engagement in the Italian GT Championship with a VSR Huracán GT3 EVO2 and support from Lamborghini Geneva.
Alberto Di Folco unveils his 2024 programme in Italian GT. The Rome-based rider will face a double engagement in the Endurance and Sprint series, driving the VSR Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in this year's eight races (12 races). Di Folco made his return to the Lamborghini family, after becoming champion of the Super Trofeo Pro-Am in 2014 and registering with a Lamborghini driver of the Blancpain GT Asia in 2017 and the GT Open the following two years.
In addition, this season marks the return of Di Folco to the Italian GT championship, where he made his first appearance in 2016 and again in 2021, still with Lamborghini.
In 2023, the Italian driver, who also has five participations and two podiums at the 24 Hours of Spa (second in the Am category in 2018 and third in the following year), took part in the GT World Challenge Europe driving an Audi, which was missing a little bit. at the gold cup's general and sprint titles, where he finished second, only a few points from the lead, and won three wins in Brands Hatch, Misano and Hockenheim. He took up the challenge of the GT World Challenge Europe with the support of Lamborghini Geneva, to which he remained firmly committed.

The Italian GT Championship will start on 4 and 5 May in Misano, which will host the first of the four rounds of the Sprint series, followed by Imola, Mugello and Monza. The Endurance series will start in Vallelunga on the weekend of 15 and 16 June, then stop at Mugello, Imola and Monza.
