On the new Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster, the exceptional alliance between the active steering system (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and the rear-mounted system (Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering) ensures high-level dynamic performance, optimizing low-speed handling and ensuring high-speed vehicle control and stability.
The LDS system adapts to the selected speed and driving mode from direct direction to more indirect direction, while the LRS system manages the rear directional axle with two electromechanical actuators. The result: an unprecedented driving experience.

4 ACTIVE SUSPENSIONS
Thanks to its magneto-rheological shock absorbers on the front and back, with pushrod system – able to adapt the dynamic behaviour of the vehicle to the condition of the road and the selected driving mode – the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster guarantees a perfect response in any condition.
In addition to compensating for the roll and unwanted movements of the hull, this system was designed to work in conjunction with the Rear-wheel Steering System.

Optimized to work specifically with all new active systems, especially with the Rear-wheel Steering System, this all-wheel drive system ensures high performance and provides driving pleasure in low grip conditions. Depending on the selected driving conditions and mode, the torque distribution between the front and rear axles varies dynamically.
The new-generation Pirelli P Zero tyres enhance the innovative active vehicle systems even more.
